Through the drone purchased under the project RO - BG - 415 "Joint risk management and partnership in the cross-border area of Klarash - Dobrich" within the cross-border cooperation program INTERREG VA Romania - Bulgaria 2014-2020 employees of the Regional Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population " Dobrich participated in the search and rescue of missing people on the territory of General Toshevo municipality, Dobrichka municipality and Balchik municipality.

Development of a joint Strategy and Action Plan against natural disasters or industrial accidents occurring in the cross-border region.

Organization of joint meetings between representatives of the municipalities in the CBC region in Dobrich District, Calarasi County and the fire services to increase the readiness of the volunteer units for work in crisis situations.
Purchase and delivery of specific modern equipment

Within the framework of the project, equipment will be delivered that will minimize emergency response time.

Development of a Strategy and Action Plan for joint activities against floods and other natural disasters
Purchase and delivery of equipment for the Municipality of Dobrichka to mitigate the negative impact of natural and other disasters
Purchase of specific equipment for the Calarasi Emergency Inspectorate
Expected results from the implementation
The target is 510,000 people to benefit from risk management actions, 350,000 of them to benefit from flood and fire protection measures, 11 joint partnerships in the field of joint early warning and emergency response.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project aims to improve and ensure the effective management of joint emergency interventions in the Calarasi-Dobrich area, to increase the coordination and effectiveness of authorities in joint early warning and to reduce the negative effects of natural and other disasters, in line with policies and EU guidelines.
