Organizing a forum in Dobrich to share experience in disaster management

A forum for the valorisation of measures for better protect of the population in the two regions in emergency situations.

The Dobrich forum aims at shareing disaster management experiences in the Dobrich-Calarasi cross-border area. About 50 participants will be invited to this forum by representatives of civil protection institutions from Bulgaria and Romania, who will have the opportunity to present their experience and strategy for crisis response, ask questions, discuss and receive the information they need. This forum will be the basis for partners' involvement in future support for joint emergencies.

We present a list of institutions responsible for the management, monitoring and prevention of natural disasters and / or those caused by industrial accidents, which should be attended by representatives of the forum:

• Public administrations
• Civil Defense Departments in Calarasi County and Dobrich District
• Police Offices in Calarasi County and Dobrich District
• Fire departments in Calarasi County and Dobrich District;
• Emergency services in Calarasi County and Dobrich District
• Danube Exploration and Maintenance Agency;
• Environmental agencies
