The delivery of the equipment
As part of the successful implementation of the activities under the ROBG-415 project "Joint Risk Management and Partnership in the Calarasi-Dobrich Border Region", with the acronym JORIMA, co-financed by the EU under the INTERREG V-A Romania-Bulgaria program, the implementation of the investment component began.
It includes the delivery of specialized equipment for the needs of the Lead Partner of the project - Dobrich Municipality.
The delivery of the equipment started with:
- 2 specialized vehicles for crisis response of different nature.
- A specialized drone to help successfully monitor and direct rescuers' efforts during a disaster.
- Inflatable boat to be used to rescue distressed people and animals in the event of a flood.
The equipment will help mitigate the negative impact of natural and other disasters.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project aims to improve and ensure the effective management of joint emergency interventions in the Calarasi-Dobrich area, to increase the coordination and effectiveness of authorities in joint early warning and to reduce the negative effects of natural and other disasters, in line with policies and EU guidelines.
